Solid lifter ? Off Topic
I know this off topic but I know some members might be able to help me out. I have 1976 Harley Davidson MC that has solid lifters, I just sold the bike and I had to adjust the solid lifters before the sale, while doing so I lifted the cup that the push rod sits in (also the location of adjustment) and the top half of the lifter pulled out of the base! I looked in side both and there nothing in there top or bottom. I put it all back together and adjusted, the only thing I noticed is the top seems to now spin in the base (while adjusting) I hate to buy a set of lifters for the sale . Think im safe or should it be replaced? Sorry for the off topic
