Clutch
When I push the clutch in on my 68, it sounds like there is an air leak. It only happens when I push the clutch in when starting the car. The sound gets quieter when I shift to the higher gears. It sounds pretty bad from first to second gear.

Do you hear this sound inside the car or does it sound like it is outside. Do you have any vacuum lines that your clutch petal is hitting? Not much to go on here can you give a bit more information.
Does it sound worse in first or second gear because you don’t have the road noise drowning out the other noise? Does it change with the RPM’s of the motor things like this will help.
