Default Temperature Sending Unit

I just bought a new sending unit at Autozone, is there some issue with having to recalibrate the temp gage if I use this one?? Ecklers has a note on theirs that says it doesn't require the gage to be recalibrated.

The only vendor that I have found to supply accurate/compatible senders is Lectric Limited.

Ouch! Mine doesn't have the correct terminal on it either to match the harness, another tip off I guess. I see Lectric Limited has them with the correct one.

Thanks for the tip

I went through two other sending units before purchasing one that works from Lectric Limited.

Good luck,
Dino

Same here. My IR temp gun confirms the sending unit and gauge are accurate.

I bought one from Kragen, works fine. Same style as the original.
