Why does it seem c3 manual pedal set ups can't be found in the parts catalogs?
You can find clutch pedals, automatic brake pedals but not manual brake pedals.
Trying to do a conversion and drop in a five speed but can't find a manaual pedal set up. Is this only available used? or big bucks as a keisler or 5speed chevy set up?
Search for salvage yards that specialize in used Corvette parts. You may even have one local. There is nothing wrong with used pedals so long as they weren't butchered when removed. Powder coat them and replace a few springs and they're as good as new.
I went the used route. Think I paid $90 off ebay for a complete pedal assembly. Replaced the bushings and springs for something like $15.
Cleaned them up and painted them, life is good.
I've seen folks bend the auto-pedal and cut the foot pad to size/shape. If you have a torch, that may be an option, but seems like a lot of hassle to save a few bucks.
As far as new parts go, (someone correct me if im wrong) there is no difference in the brake pedal from auto and standard. Just the little plate that’s tac welded on the bottom. When I converted my auto to a 4 speed, a plasma cutter made the auto brake petal into a manual.
