Hood Latch Cable Strap Location.

I need a pic of the hood latch cable that's on the hood in the early C3s. There is a strap that holds the cable up to the hood in the center and it's screwed or bolted in place. I have an after market hood that was not designed for this style of latch system so there is no hole for said screw.

I just need a pic for a rough location for this temporary hood latch cable.

So long as it's the old style latch system then yes that would be fine. Mine originally had the system where the latches and cable are on the firewall. I don't know what year they switched, but I converted to the older style latches that are mounted to the underside of the hood and have a cable connecting them.

I just need a pic of where that cable attached to the underside of the hood.
