C2 frame vs C3 frame!?

C2 frame vs C3 frame!?
I think I read somewhere on here in the last week or two that C2 frames and C3 frames were virtually interchangeable. Is this true? What are the differences in the two. They really do look the same to me. Thanks for any help.

Not quite, the body mounts and bumper mounting bracket holes are in different locations.
