LT1 hood
I am restoring a 70 LT1. I have a hood that looks to be after market ( white glass). Will this hood be meet NCRS standards? If not, any body out there know what I should look for.

The judges will probably detect an aftermarket hood so if you are concerned about taking the points hit, a used factory or NOS hood is the only way to go.
Not sure how to tell an original LT-1 hood or if the 454 and LT-1 hood is different.
There is the Corvette Expo coming to Sevierville, TN on Oct 19-20, maybe you can find one there.

You should be able to find an original hood. When you fill holes in fiberglass you have to be careful of shrinkage. The holes need to be glassed-in front and back side. If shrinkage does occur, you wind-up with small dimples in your paint.
