Fowmasters sound like straight pipes,
Magnaflows sound nice deep rumble to them alot softer even more softer with x-pipe ,even with 3" pipe.

This sound ....

Is coming out from these...

I actually forgot what are these muflers...I've tried so many of them i just forgot their names, but these are the ones i liked (and flowed) best...

Of course the sound 'design' depends on many variables and not only from the type of muffler you've got...engine power, cams profile, dia of the exhaust, if it's a true dual or you've got an X pipe somewhere, muffler...

There's no right or wrong here,..everyone has their own idea what their rig should sound like.

I tried a pair of Magnaflows in a Camaro. Had my pipe guy weld it all up. Hated the sound. Sounded to me like farts through a pillow. Called Jegs as soon as I got home, and waited a couple of days for a pair of Dynomax Super Turbos.

Three days after my mistake, I had the DST's installed and I LOOOVE the way they sound,..like a muscle car should, mellow and meaty. And the best part, is, they sound better with age.

My opinion,..worth what you paid.

Thanks for all the comments, good and bad. The magnaflows are on order. If I don't like them, they weren't that expensive and I can look at something else.
