Question for those of you who are running a Hydroboost and Jeep Box - how long is your line from the high-pressure output of the Hydroboost to the input port of the Jeep Box? It looks like I can get away with a hose that's about 8" long.

As the crow flies it's right about that but I would think a little slack would go a long way. Make it 12"-16" for a clean look.
I made all my own lines using russel fittings and stainless flex hose. You can then custom make each line for a custom fit.
You must buy 2 adapters and I could give you the part number tomorrow from work. These adapters are about $10 each and allow you to go to number 6 russel flare fittings and hose.
It is the cheapest way to go, looks really good and you can custom cut and make each line a perfect length.
I have been running this type of line for about 10 years and never had one blow or leak yet.

Batman, I remember you saying you went with the high pressure Aeroquip blue lines. I'm using the Aeroquip teflon 6an SS lines. I got all the fittings I need and will be doing the lines tomorrow. Took the next three days off for the car and other errands. I modified my stock pump for dual returns which eliminates fluid backpressure which affects the pump life and the brake pedal. I'll do a full write up when I'm done with tons of pics. Should be sweet. I'm going to leave excess line slack to keep it away from the headers and incase I ever need the extra hose to go to a rack setup. I routed my plug wires over the hooker headers with a verticle wire loom and those fiberglass plug boot socks.

I messed up...I got the Aeroquip blue lines, but the fittings I got were for the stainless hose. I ended up ordering a 6' piece of -6AN teflon/stainless.
As much as the line isn't fond of flexing, I figure keeping the run as short as possible will cut down on any problems with the lines getting too close to my (wrapped) header or the spark plug wires. I'll put the long piece of tubing away in case I ever go with a rack system.
Once I have the little bitty line made and hooked up, I'll post pics of the whole thing.

I ended up buying Aeroquip parts from Summit. Not the cheapest, but I knew the part numbers for everything I needed.
Got the high and low pressure lines assembled, the Hydroboost unit installed, and the steering cooler mounted. The total length for the high-pressure hose from Hydroboost to Jeep Box ended up at 6". (yes, I know the cooler is looking kinda ugly. I need to find some of that thin black radiator paint to improve the appearance.)
