New one is in. It measured 15.15V when I first started the car. I put 10 miles on the car and when I returned I measured the alternator at idle and it read 14.40V. Woot!!!

When you say you measured the alternator, you are checking the voltage at the battery, right? What is the voltage between the pos/neg posts, car running at idle? That is the voltage to be concerned with...if it's under 14vdc at the battery, you're good.
