Intake manifold gaskets

Thanks,
Chris
It's a low crush gasket and gets torqued to 25 FT Lbs.
I have used this gasket many times with the 2101intakes with no issues.
Be sure to use RTV silicone ONLY for the end gaskets (not the rubber gaskets supplied) and very thin bead of RTV around the water ports as well.
Run a 1/4" dia. bead of silicone along the front and rear edge of the block and overlap it about 1/2" up the edge of the intake gasket.
Let the silicone setup for as long as possible after bolting down the intake (at least a few hours, over night is better) so the engine vacuum wont try to pull the silicone in on start up.
Re-torque after a few hours running time
Edelbrock has the torque sequence for the 2101 on their web site.
