Holley 4237 with auto 78?

Holley 4237 with auto 78?
I wondering what the pro's and con's are to putting on a holley 4237, it has mechanical secondaries. Ive got a 78 auto vette

lol, a very kind person gave it to me
its a carb from the early 70's, its a double pumper, a direct replacement for the Q-jet, bolts straight on, mechanical secondaries, etc

it has "6R 4237 B", on the main body, it has 8522/6210 on one end and on the other end, it has 7866/6240(6 or 5)
thats all the numbers I can see, I did a search on google for it, a few threads come up for it

Excellent for automatic. have to hook up cable/switch
Kit from auto supply or jegs/summit. 37-605 renew kit

Mechanical 2nds typically work better on high-perf engines with manual transmissions. Mechanical 2nds on heavy automatics with standard engine performance can tend to have a hole in throttle response, as if "over-carbed". A properly tuned vac 2nd carb avoids this.
