Hardtop for '68
Due to my past experience with the few one-year-only parts for the '68
will a hardtop from a '69-'75 fit on a '68 convert?

It will fit IF you remove the center pin from the top (if it has one).
I bought a hard top at a swap meet and had to cut off the center pin..

I got one on ebay for $300. Fit right on, no center pin. Only had to strip off ten layers of paint.

My car is dark red with a black interior. I think that a black, vinyl hard top would look fantastic.

I've never heard/seen this center pin on any of my 4 '68's. Is it rare or from an early run?
Thanks

Rondo,
Do you have more info on when this center pin config was used?
Thanks

As I understand it, there was no center pin on a 1968.
I do not know which years that had the center pin
