Hey guys.
Is anyone familiar with the old style performer intake from edelbrock? It came on the engine I bought, and it doesn't look like today's performer intake. It's definately not an rpm intake either.
If you are familiar with this old design, is it a good intake? It seems to be taller than today's performer design too. Any specs on height? Flow characteristics? rpm range? Possible part #?
Would it be worth it to go with an rpm qjet manifold? I've got a drop base air cleaner already, brodix 180ik heads, and a comp cams 218 224 cam, and a dual exhaust with long tubes.
Any thoughts?
Contact Ganey here on the forum, he's pretty knowlegeable on the performer intakes. According to him the second version of the performer actually is better than the current version. Which is which, you'll have to ask him

Reason: typo
Here is an ebay link for the intake I have. It still carried the part number of 2101, which is the same as todays. But it seems taller, and the runners more pronounced, if that makes sense.
