I'm confused. Where were you when you did this...inside the car or outside the car?
Its not huge but i could probably get two hands down in there, i reached from outside the car. Is there a door thats supposed to go there, i used foil tape for now but i would like to figure out how to do it right. the screen was in place and about 4-5 inches below that i touched the blower, blower is still where it should be. Also what wires do i jump to make my blower, well you know, BLOW. It stays on low speed, i replaced the interior speed switch, and i have a relay on order.

There is a thing, I don't know what to call it, that's screwed down into the housing or air box, from the firewall side. It has terminals coming out of it. Pull it out and it has a spring winding through the various terminals and that's probably what's keeping your fan from working properly.
can someone post a pic of this fresh air door and does anyone have on they can part with? So far i changed the switch and the thing that goes in the heater box with the metal springs and such on it. Only thing left is the relay, would that be my problem?
Usually when the resistor unit goes bad all you will have is high speed fan, sometimes you can have low and high or medium and high. Do you have access to the wiring plug for the blower speed switch? If so the brown (these are 68 colors) is the hot (power in) lead. If you jumper from it to each of the other 3 colors (one at a time) orange, brown and blue you should get 3 different fan speeds. If you do get 3 distinct speeds by jumpering the fan switch has gone bad.
Be careful sticking your hand down the fresh air side of the plenum as the blower cage is right there.
The resistor (1968 again) is on the backside of the heater housing so access is a bit tough. Patience and good flexibility required!
that "thing" on the top of the heater box (that durango boy mentioned) is the high speed relay, i would try to change that since you seem to have tackled everyting else. it may solve your problem.
