Default zz4 turnkey in 80

thinking of puting a turn key zz4 in my 80 vette , any thing i should know eg" clearances, are they reveres flow , do i need electric fans, serpentine belt system, will it bolt up to my trans auto . Thanks to anyone that can help

Just installed one in my '73. You will need the short water pump.
The exhaust ports on the heads are a D shaped port that may may require a little porting on stock exhaust manifolds. Existing headers should work ok.
If your temp sending unit is located in the drivers side cylinder head it will have to be re located to the intake manifold.
Most ZZ4's I've seen come with a 14" flex plate so you should be ok.
Good little engine with tons of torque.
