1) What is the cause of only one of the idle screws having no effect at all while tuning?
One screw is very responsive while the other has very little or no effect at all.
2) Can somebody tell me the rating of the GM # 7036019 power piston spring?
I was pretty sure that they start to expand at about 6hg but I'm not absolutely certain.

I can answer # 1 The passages feeding, or leaving the adjuster are probably clogged. You may be able to clear the blockage by removing the needle and shooting some carb cleaner in.
i cant help u with your questions but i am interested in the answers u get . i am trying to keep my cost down on topend rebuild by upgrading my stock 79 qjet. there are some web sights with limited info on the web .
