Default Replacement electrical connection/plug on my 76....?

I have an electrical plug/connection under the brake booster that is a little melted and need to replace it.

On the bottom side of this plug is 2 heavy red wires that come from the starter. On the top side are 2 plugs/clips. First goes to the alternator and the other goes to what looks to be a wiring block on the firewall slightly under the booster. Its pretty tight in there or I would try to take a picture and post it. Maybe I'll have to try to get it out into the open.

Anyway, I thought someone might have run across this connector in their travels and might know where I can get one. I could simply replace the connector with some spade connections and shrink wrap, but I don't want to be 'Bubba'.

Hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about and chime in. Thanks for looking!!

Bubba, would just twist the wires together and wrap the connection in scotch tape. Ask me how I know.

...looks like I will just be using some heavy plastic clips from the auto parts store. Can't see spending the money on a starter harness extension over (1) clip/connector. Besides all the vendors that sell them don't seem to have one for a 76 and none of the others even look close to what I need.

Just call me 'Bubba'

It's not Bubba if you do it right. Use a store bought terminal, and properly crimp it, or solder it, and shrink wrap it. That's about as good as it can get aside from a stock connector.

Maybe better. I've seen plenty of lousy crimps on factory wires. Just ask the two gauge light wires that broke at the light socket when I pulled the dash this time. I think I'm up to seven of those that have broken in the past 10 years...one of which I soldered back together lying on my back under the dash. Not fun...kinda burning, actually.
