Default Is a Steeroids kit a true bolt on?

Is speed direct Steroids steering kit a true bolt on for late C3's?
Did anybody mount it on a '77?

I'd like to 'refine' the steering performance with one of these kits but i dont want the hussle of fabbricating/welding/cutting etc etc...I have other projects in mind so i'd only swap the old steering if it's 'simple' job.

I have it on my '77 and yes, it is a 'bolt on' kit. I love it. This kit along with VP&B front monospring is a great combination. I am documenting the install on my website soon.

It bolted right up on my '77, hardest part of it all was removing the old system. I had 255/60/15s all around before, but had to put 225/70/15 on the fronts so they wouldn't rub the frame on full turn. Also noticed that my steering is much more responsive and almost twitchy at higher speeds.

Wasn't there something about having to drill holes somewhere and a shabby template?

Default Power steering rack

I have been pricing steering racks and was about to buy the steroids for my "&73 project...Then I found out from talking to VB&P that they are about to release there own rack system..being a forum and Vette Fever member you get a 10% discount..I'm waiting ...everything that I've installed from VB&P has been great..and very good to work with..RA

Save you Lira and buy a Corvette Steering or Vette Brakes Jeep box conversion without all the bracketry problems later in life.
