Windshield Removal
Anyone have any pictures of what it takes to remove the windshield trim and the windshield from a 75 through 77? I have a crack in the windshield and I also want to remove it to clean up the windshield frame. Any pics with instructions would be appreciated. Thanks.

About $20.00 at Harbor Freight. Once the trim is off, the wire's supposed to go into two t-handles and you use it to saw back and forth through the black RTV to free the windshield. I haven't actually done this part yet, but will be soon.

I called Safelite. They came out to my garage and removed the old glass and I asked them to come back in a week to install the new windshield. That gave me the time to clean up all the surrounding areas. The price was reasonable too.

Safelite
I called safelite and they wanted $100 just to come out and pull the windshield. They were the only one of about 4 or 5 glass companies that would even consider touching it.
