As long as you are using heads with the stock exhaust port location, the headers are fine. Like George said, you need an electric fuel pump. Also I needed a new oil pan, the one that comes with the crate didn't fit. Also if you are running a manual transmission, there is no boss for the ball stud for the clutch cross shaft. You need the bracket from Scoggin-Dickey or make your own.

Fuel pump and clutch Z bar were the only issues I had even the Scoogin Dickey bracket needed to be modiofied to fit.

I ran new Hedmans side exhaust headers which fit great. Just needed to grind down flanges for head bolt clearance.

Skunk
Fuel pump and Z-bar were the easy part for me

By the way, ARP offers lower profile head bolts. I replaced the lower 4 on each side and gained clearance without grinding, using my stock exhaust manifolds. I believe that would have worked for header flanges also, based on measurement taken on my hooker side pipes.

It is a March set up for BB Vettes, if you need the part number PM me and I can look them up. Be advised - it is not a cheap date! I was floored when I got the pricing, but in the end the set up was easy to install, and very well made.

Skunk, I too am interested, PM me the info if you will. Did the crank pulley fit without notching the crossmember?? I have the proverbial c hair clearance right now A while back, I was thinking about setting up a MSD crank trigger wheel but that wouldn't fit.

Not a problem with the pan, the one I got was too deep, kept scraping the bottom. Replaced it with a Moroso road racing pan.

March part number for drive set up was 20511. A/C with P/S.

I swapped to the Milodon 7 quart oil pan, no problems with clearance although the dipstick was fun!

The block casting has a boss in the correct location for the cross shaft, you can also just drill and tap a hole.

Hoover....have you installed the motor yet? That looks like it's too far back. The pivot ball should be before the filter

I take back my comment, you are correct, I was in error. That location works for chassis other than Corvette's. Sorry. I installed that 502 in a F body.
