Vortec Head Clearance
I just bought a set of vortec heads and a performer RPM intake for my 75. I plan to run a holley 650 and have a 2.5in drop base. I want to know if this set up will fit under my stock hood, i dont really feel like spending the extra money on a new hood.

Got that set-up, only with the higher Airgap intake and I've got about 3/4 inch clearance on my 1980.
Just be sure you get an intake made for the Vortec heads.....
