I'm getting ready to tear into my diff. to install new 3.55 gears.
If I don't succeed, I blame GTR1999 for getting me into this mess.
Because of various articles I've read of his, I decided this was job I could tackle. Already had most of the tools needed and this project gave me the excuse to buy the ones I didn't.
Already have the diff out of the Vette but it needs a major cleaning. Hope to have it cleaned and completely unassembled by this evening.

That's what I'm thinking, nothing money can't fix. 
All apart now and "soaking". Probably spend what time I have tomorrow to work on it cleaning the sucker.
