From: the land of a never ending frame-off resto-mod. May Visa have mercy on my soul.
I am getting closer on my frame-off. Just ran into a major problem...Grandma sold her house and I have to move the car and ALL of my gear out by Dec.9.
How big of a rebuild are you doing? Now is a good time to replace all the fuel and brake lines since you have easy access to them. For suspension parts I recommend VanSteel. Excellent customer support after the sale.
I had the frame blasted and painted. Replaced all the lines, rear end sent out for rebuild, New offset T/As, Performance Plus semi-coilover suspension, rebuilt the steering w/poly, had trans rebuilt w/tc and shift kit, engine rebuild in progress- .30 over w/flat top pistons, comp cam, MSD ignition, and new engine,front and rear wire harnesses.
Yes I am about broke and over budget but I hope to have it finished by July 08 barring anymore disasters.

I have a 82 also. When I was doing my restoration, I found two small cracks in the mono. you had to look very closley,but they were there. Just a suggestion, I would hate to think all your hard work and time would be for a loss if going down the road one day, and the back of the car fell to the ground.GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RESTORATION!
