1970 Bumper Gaurds
I am looking to replace my lower front "bumperettes" or"front bumper gaurds"... I'm not exactly sure what there called. I see alot of reproduction but rare to see rechromed originals. Has anyone installed the repros... hows the fit and chrome? Thanks!

They are called Bumper Guard or Front Bumper Lower Guard. I replaced
these about 6 years ago on my '70. Cost was about $85 each. Now I
see - in some catalogs - they run $150-$170 each. Call Wilcox for a
good price. If you put these on, or have your other bumpers off, I
suggest painting the inside - spray paint is fine - a gray or silver to
somewhat retard rust in the future.
