Auto Trans Fluid Level
In the TH350 A/T, when fluid level is FULL, is the actual level ABOVE the filler tube hole?
Wondering, as I have a leak that I believe is coming from tube hole and need to know if I should drain tranny fluid first or just pull up the tube and go from there.

You have to drain first. The level is above the fill tube.
The easiest way I have found to drain the pan without a plug, is to remove the bolts on three sides leaving one side bolted up. Maybe remove all but two bolts on that side. Slowly loosen those two bolts and the pan will start to drop in that direction...making it easier to catch the fluid as it rolls of that lower side of the pan.
I usually install a bolt in drain plug bung when I have a trans pan off that doesn't have that provision.
