Door surprise
Ah, Bubba strikes again...and he's clumsy!
I've been the proud owner of this brilliant Orange Flame '76 for six months and have recently noticed that the PW's are sluggish. After consulting the Forum (Mrvette has a nice post on this) I figured to dive into the door and clean-up the goo along the slides, etc. Very recently, I began noticing a distinct metallic CLANK when lowering the window. Semi-alarming really....metal? After pulling the panel I flash-lighted into the darkness inside the door and discovered a FOR SALE sign that clearly slipped inside the window and has folded in half down into the door. Here's where I stand:

I hoping that a patient Forum-ite might nurse-maid me through the disassembly steps to liberate the entrapped sign and proceed to the slide-cleaning? I haven't dove into this door before and would love a bit of guidance.
In the immortal words of William Wallace- "FREEDOM!"

Upon inspection, I noticed the rather obvious access panel there at the bottom and liberated said entrapped sign.

I would still like to have a blow-by-blow description of how to proceed to the slide, etc. clean. I like mrvette's description of his windows flowing up and down "like a guillotine". Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
