Flat bedding a C3
I am going to have to have my 70 vert flat bedded to my engine builder. It is pissing oil from the pan gasket. I am concerned with them loading the car on the flat bed and screwing something up. What is the best way to flat bed one of these. I can start the car and though of driving the front tire up on the flat bed. Any thoughts?

Have them hook it to the frame and pull it up. These cars are not made of china. I blew the rear on mine and it locked up. They dragged the car up backwards on the flat bed by the frame. No damage was done. Just make sure it is low enough so they don't have the cable up against the fiberglass.

Do not allow them to pull the car up the ramp from any suspension parts. In the front there are tow hook holes to use and in the rear there are plenty of holes in the frame to use. Front control arms and rear strut rods look convenient and more than one tow truck driver has wanted to utilize these spots to pull the car up the ramp and tie it down. Be aware of what they are doing!
