Power locks at it again

Power locks at it again

Hi guys, about a month ago my driver side door lock decided it didn't want to unlock any more. I can lock with it, and even lock and unlock with the passenger side, but can not unlock with the driver side switch. Both sides have new switches. The driver side has a new wire harness, new actuator, and new door lock mech. So i can't figure out how to fix this dam thing.

Check your fuses at this point! When I was taking my door panels off to repaint, I accidently hit the contact switch and it blew the fuse and my radio also. Just a thought!(pepsiman).

Went back and looked at your previous posts.You said the new switches fixed it....???????????

Ok, sorry lol went out to beat the car (it won once again). Its a 1980, oh and the post was from the first time this problem came up that time neither switch would work. Now the pass. side works fully and the driver only locks doesnt unlock.

Yea that was the first place i looked, nothing, i even checked a few of the others for just in case....

This happened to me. I changed the door handles with new ones and the hole needed to be reamed out so the chrome **** would slide easier. Try taking the **** off and see if it works.

I doubt this is your problem, but some idea's are better than nothing.
