Oil pump and shaft question

I have been reviewing some past threads on the oil pump and the oil pump shaft. I am a little concerned now. Please help alleviate my concerns. My oil pump came with the nylon coupling (sleeve). I also bought a new oil pump drive shaft. I attempted to use the coupling, but it didn't work very well, and is now beyond use. Then, I figured that the new drive shaft did not need a coupling because it has a metal one (although not as snug as the nylon). Here are the pump and shaft that I bought:

Do I need the nylon coupling with this setup?

The metal sleeve on the shaft is all you need

I agree. I just had to replace my oil pump about 6 weeks. I replaced with the all metal coupler too.
