78 tach calibration?

78 tach calibration?

I fried the circuit board to my tach on my 78. I was looking around at ordering a new one from Wilcox. I noticed another on ebay that said it was pre calibrated. Is this something you would have to calibrate and if so how would you adjust it? I havent snatched it out yet but I am getting ready to.

I would get in touch with board member ACECO, it may be able to be fixed. He fixed my 79;s circuit board because mine was reading way high. He is very honest and his prices are extrememly reasonable.
