Default Torque Converter

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the B&M 2400 TorkMaster and the B&M 2400 Holeshot?
This is a daily driver.

Thanks.

You really have to see a cut in half T.C. to understand what they are talking about. I believe that you get what you pay for. If you go to the corner store and buy a rebuild TC for $99.95 you got just what you paid for B&M has up to $500 units.

Well I guess I should have stated that I am looking for a 2400 T/C to put in while I am rebuilding my 350. The ones I mentioned are all that I know about. Also who would you purchase them from...

I just asked this question to a few people a couple of days ago. The answer I got from everyone is that the the TorkMaster is the regular duty TC and the Holeshot is built heavier duty for higher HP motors. I installed the 2400 Holeshot yesterday and what a huge difference it made over my stock TC. I couldn't spin my tires at all before even by braking, reving the engine, releasing the brakes and hitting the gas. I can now just hit the gas and spin the tires, this is with a 3.08 and 275/60 tires.

I bought a cheaper converter once from a company called GER. I saw their add in "HotRod or Car Craft" It came with some long warranty and it was still running fine when I sold the pickup and I did my best to beat it to death. It was in front of a shift kitted TH400 with a 400 or so hp motor. It was a furnace brazed blah blah blah.... It was something like a 24-2500 stall 10 inch.

2 cents. If you plan on doing "hard" daily driving, think about getting the holeshot w/the furnace brazen blah, blah, blahs :) I saw one of Maurice's old torque converters and that convinced me that this is one area that you don't want to go el cheapo if you can help it.
