When I pulled the dash out to put in my electrical tach, I found several of the wires for dash lights were dangling free. Does anybody know where I can get the mushroom shaped crimp that goes on the end of the wire? I have been told that if those crimps come off, the only way to fix it is buy a new harness, but I know this can't be true. If worst comes to worst, I'll solder something up. However, has anybody else had to do this? Any ideas?
You can occasionally find them at swap meets. The last time I saw a bunch, I bought them. They are hard to find. Good hunting. Check with Lectric Limited. They make a good many of the repro wiring harnesses and have to be able to get them from somewhere.
:)
I checked on Lectric Limited's website, and under "FAQ's", they specifically state that they do not sell any connectors, tape, etc not listed on the page. They make a point of saying do not call or email about such components. I'd rather not spend $415 for a harness when there is nothing else wrong with mine. Does anybody have another vendor in mind that might help?
