Brake Rotor Paint
Has anyone here painted or powdercoated their new brake rotors to prevent rust from forming? I am talking about the areas with the fins and the portion which the lug nut studs go through...not the actual braking surface of the rotor. Post pics

The veins are hard to coat, but the hat, as it's referred to, is very easy to either paint or powder coat. Tape off the pad surface of the rotors, and you're all set. I would advice against coating the flange surface on the back, as you want that to be the cleanest possible match without anything between the two surfaces. I don't have pics because I have never done it, but I have seen several members that have done it to their Vettes.
