I have a Moroso Low Profile racing aircleaner on my Q-Jet with an RPM manifold. Clears my '75 hood by at least 3/4". The Pro-Flo manifold loks to be about the same height. I am using a 3" tall filter so you might have to use a 2.5" filter at worst.
Thanks steve I am running a drop drop base on my 75 yellow vert with a Barry Grant 850 and an Performer RPM manifold and the clearence is tight I have a 3" filter on it with a power flo top for more air motor needs all the air it can get
You have a sweet looking ride that yellow & saddle looks great,

Thanks. You got any more pics of your vert? That avatar pic is making me think of going back to the stock rear bumper.
i hate to say but you wont be able to find an air cleaner that will work. even with no air cleaner on the throttle body the hood almost hits. i had to go with a bigger hood on my car and i am running a flat base and short filter and it just barely clears the new hood. also if you run a drop base it has to clear all the sensors next to the throttle body and the fuel rails. here are some pictures of my setup.
I was afraid of that I guess i just figured edelbrock was playing it safe when they said will not clear the hood on Corvette that is what they said about the performer RPM and 750 that I put on my 74 but I got lucky on that one and also the 75 with the 850 they both clear but not by very much
Thanks for the info it will save me a lot of work
You might try the Holley Hi-Tek air cleaner. It's pretty low profile, though on the pricey side, but it may solve your problem.
Also consider something like a carb hat used for superchargers with an air filter either remotely located or with one that fits forward of the throttle body.
There's usually a solution. The problem is finding which solution is best or most cost effective.
Steve I do have more Pictures but don't know how to post them I guess I am better with Fiberglass-Body Filler and sand paper than I am with the computer
