I'm continually having to refill the coolant on my car. I've never noticed a leak anywhere and there is never coolant on the garage floor.
No coolant in the oil either that I can tell.
Pretty much means I'm burning off coolant, I'm guessing.
Now...there is a really bad cap on my coolant overflow tank (cracked in several places)...is it possible the water is evaporating from that tank and disappearing? I'd love it if just putting on a new cap would clear up this problem. :D
If not, is there somewhere to start looking to see if and where I might be burning off coolant?
Get your radiator cap tested and replaced, if necessary. If it is good then I would suspect a head gasket that has a small hole in it. Do a compression check to see which one.

I'd be surprised if a compression check could pick up the pinhole you probably have in a gasket. Also, I think I read somewhere that certain heads are prone to cracking (around the exhaust ports?); I suppose it's possible that something like that might have happened too.
Well...the one thing that makes me think it might not be the heads is that it's been doing this since I got the car (in April) and I had the heads completely rebuild in July...
