Default 1982 Cruise Control Transducer

My vette has cruise control with a resume feature. There is a 3 wire electrical connector that plugs into two electrical spades on the transducer. My question is will a transducer made for a 2 wire electrical connector work on my car? Thanks

I think it will work, but you won't have the resume feature

I will 3rd that and I'm pretty sure you can transfer the resume solenoid to your new 2 wire transducer.
edit -should note the 2 mounting bosses will be missing but the bracket will still be held by one of the mounting bolts. Not sure if the solenoid has its own ground or needs the bracket.

I'm pretty sure the 3rd connection (that plugs into the transducer) is a vacuum connection

Hmmm I thought there were 2 wire that plugged into the transducer and 2 wires that plugged into the resume solenoid.Guess I better look at the book.

If you have a tranducer with 3 spades coming out of the tranducer all together at one spot then the 3rd spade is not used on the vette-its for a cruise light that was used on other cars.2 wire will work like the 3 you just wont use the 3rd
