corvette side windows too short!
Guys- Just had my vette painted and decided to replace my scratched up side widows.A good friend has an auto glass shop and gave me a super deal on two new windows.These windows were ordered for a corvette but when installed have a gap from the top of the window to the weatherstripping.They were installed at my friend's shop and the installer could not get any more adjustment to close the gap at the top.The gap is large enough that the wind wistles through when driving.I find out later that the windows were not manufactured in north america.Guess i should have spent the extra for U.S. windows. Has anyone had a similar problem?

How much of a gap? Other option is to get shorter stops in the track. I assume the stops are at there highest point. My windows will pass the "T" tops if i set these too high.

Did anyone measure the old vs new windows top to bottom? Are the new ones in fact short or is the installer missing something, if they are short, send them back. Its only a deal if it works
