Seeing other ideas out there. I'm having Van Steel doing the frame
complete rebuild, sand blast...powder coat, 450lb springs w/Qa1 semi in front, Qa1 adjustable in the rear, 373 ring and pinion...us gears, 2" reverse trailing arms, 17 spline inner axles, 3" half shafts, 360 lb composite spring, force 10 calipers all around, 6 link dragvette, set off touring rotors, gas tank, and SS brake and fuel lines. Now for the engine i'm going with Gilberts Ultimate Street 502 with serpentine pulleys. Rebuilding M-20. The body is down to a shell. All chrome will be redone. New trim and emblems. Putting A/C back on. Going with aluminum radiator w/2 fans. Have new interior and seats were redone. Have L88 cowl induction BB hood w/flap. Going to paint it Riverside Gold. Keeping rallys and will have a set of drag radials. Any other ideas? Trying to build Race/Show car. Thanks for your time
p.s how do you think it will run?
for the cost of all that stuff new and farming out the labor to have somebody else do it all I would seriously ask you consider a "SRII completely assembeled rolling tube frame chasis with all new c4/c5 suspension components". I think they go for around the low teens.

It sounds as if he already committed to Van Steel doing the frame.
One question that I have is what kind of race? Is it a show car that could be raced or one that would actually be raced. What kind of race?
Either way, the guys at Van Steel know their stuff and it sounds as if you will have one sweet ride.
Best of luck, post some pictures.
could be raced...to much money to tear up. will see some 1/8 mile with drag radials. ( our car club gets the track for fund raisers a few times a year )
