There have been threads discussing the Megasquirt ECU I can't find, many inquiries with "EFI" in the title, I posted a thread on a low profile EFI intake for a BBC that's no longer there, stuff is definitly missing

On your post did you see if it was still in "threads made by you"?

Yeah, can't find it there.
I'm looking for a thread about a low profile intake build I documented and posted with pictures last year, I'm missing some of the pictures and thought I could retrieve them.
Then I looked for other posts on various subjects that I have any memory of and found allot missing. I found two posts in the C3 tech section on Megasquirt, I know there have been more. Bullshark has posted on this subject, we had a discussion about the ECU I can't find, where have they gone?
Apparently we can't rely on the archives, that's too bad for obvious reasons, and we can't harp on people too much for not using the search function.

Its all still there. I just found this under threads started by you.
Just make sure you always check the current AND ARCHIVES boxes at the bottom of the search screen.
Greg.
Thanks Greg, that's what I was looking for, I was searching for "Low Profile BBC EFI intake" without success. Unfortunately the pictures are missing, they were attachments.
edit: Tried this myself and the results go back only to March of this year, maybe the search capability has changed with all the equipment changes they've made recently.

Just tried again, I came up with 57 threads started by you going all the way back to Dec 2005. Are you sure your checking the ARCHIVES box?
Greg.
Also make sure your using the advanced search tool. The quick search only searches recent threads.
P.S. There is a sticky at the top of this page that explains the search function.

Reason: added ps
I searched for the title "Low Profile BBC EFI intake" using the archive option under the tech section and I get a no match, didn't use to be that way, something has changed. I should be able to find a thread especially if I query the exact title, can you go to the exact thread using "Low Profile BBC EFI intake"? I can't find this article using even "Low Profile" or "EFI" or "BBC" searching titles only with the archive option checked in the C3 tech section, can you?
Fooled around with the search function a little more this morning. I found that I could pull up the specific thread using only the word Profile, not EFI, BBC, intake, Low or a combination of these words like originally posted. “Low Profile”, “BBC EFI”, “EFI intake” and “Profile BBC” would also return a no match. I guess the lesson here is that just because you get a no match doesn’t mean it’s not there and may require many more attempts to get to what you are looking for. If you search for "EFI intake" you should get all the threads associated with that query.
FYI, the search function is not as comprehensive as what you may be use to and needs work.
