Default Brake line orientation

I know this is a simple question, but one I can't find the answer to.

1968 C3 power brakes. On the master cylinder which port feeds which brakes. Does the front port (closest to radiator) feed the front brakes, and the rear port (closest to firewall) feed the rear, or are they reversed, front feeds rear brakes, and rear port feeds front brakes.

Thank you for your help, I need to get the fittings and I totally have no idea which way the lines hook up.

If I recall front of mc is for front brakes and back is back. Somebody else please confirm.

Why not order a line kit? They're pretty foolproof.

Lines are already run, I'm just trying to make sure I plumb everything up correctly. Just looking for confirmation on front to front and rear to rear.

Thanks though.

Gotcha. The lines from the distribution block to the M/C should only fit one way. The front reservoir feeds the front brakes.

Yes front to front but dont forget the 2 lines and fittings are different sizes. The front line and fitting are smaller than the rear.

Thank you all very much. I know one fitting is 9/16 -20 or something and the other is 1/2 -18. Either way I already have them, just needed to know which went to where. Thank you all very much. Gotta love these online forums, so helpful to find people that actually have answers.

Happy Holidays
