Default Paint prep question

I have my 1976 car stripped down to the glass with a razor blade ( came out great ) my question is can I do all of my crack and bond seam repair with a catalysis spot filler without using a 2k primer? I live in a cold area and it won't get warm enough to spray primer for a while yet ( April ) and I want to have all of the minor repair complete by than. Will I have a problem not using 2k primer between sanding and addimg more the spot filler on the glass without primming between? I plan on doing all of the minor repairs and in April do a 2k primmer over the whole car and blocking it before having the body shop do a sealer than BC/CC paint job.
Thanks for any information anyone can provide me

will the car stay in a shop the duration?

i would get all of the factory seam filler out and replace or it will crack again under the new paint . . .

Yes, the car will be garaged the whole process. I am worried about doing the repairs without using primer until the last minute.

You shouldn't have any issues with doing repairs and not applying primer. Most primer is permeable - meaning moisture will penetrate through. Your biggest threat is contamination. Wipe the surfaces down with a good wax and grease remover - DX-330 is among the best, then keep it covered with a bedsheet - don't put plastic sheeting over as it will trap all moisture from your garage floor under it.

Another poster addressed your repairs - he's correct - you want to do full resin/mat repairs on all the seams as they will show eventually if you don't. It's a lot of work but worth every minute. Good luck.
