That's pretty much what I have in my SBC with SRP pistons, which is a JE brand. No problems after 15K miles now, it takes abuse. The pistons are noisy when the motor is cold, but I hear that's true of all forged pistons.
The shop I do some work at we used to use Scat, now this acouple years ago and we problems with weights being off, no balanced right cranks, and we switch to Eagle stuff. No I have heard there quality control has improved.
Maybe I'm missing something ... correct me please ... but look at that kit's numbers/specs ... something don't seem to add up. "BBC, sixty over, 4" stroke, 491 inches" ???
Dunno 'bout all the shipping to Europe $ ... otherwise I'd piece this sort of thing out & probably get a better deal ... again dunno 'bout euro ship, vat etc.

Do you mean that its cheaper to buy it piece by piece instead of buying the kit?
I dont think that the shipping for europe is more expensive, as long as all the parts are sent in one package.

I mean source it from who ever has lowest prices ... that would probably mean from different sources and different shippers. If you know what you're looking at ... You can usually piece together same stuff from more than 1 ebay etc sellers ... but it'll usually be from different sellers. ... So ... usually not in one package. Yes usually cheaper to piece it out ... but only if you KNOW what you're looking at & doing.

What a mess... That's the second Summit description I've seen messed up in the last couple of days.
You can go straight to Scat's site and see all the rotating assemblies they sell.
They're supposed to be balanced by them so you don't need to - I don't know if I'd trust it as mush as a good machine shop.
Flatlander has a great site with lot's of info too.
Here's their assemblies:
I have a lightweight cast scat crank with forged rods for my 383.....I'm happy with it...parts were bought sepratley.
please get it balanced/checked no matter what....it was an ext balanced and I bout the correct flexplate/balancer.......when I brought mine to the shop the guy said it was the worst one he's seen and the machine was shaking pretty bad.....but once he balanced that and the rods and all I have had no problems for the past year. I've accidently ran it up to a little over 7K before and still, no problems...
