Default 76 Head Light Doors

well i finally got what i wanted , been wainting for 35 years ,and do i have a lot of work ahead , started to change out front and rear bummpers and now looking for advice on how to adjust headlight door , when opening head light door (passager side )it is dragging on body , any advice on how to adjust door.

Its probably the body that is sticking up. Check that first,rust will form between header bar and fiberglass and force the body up.

The headlamp support also tends to oxidize along with the headlamp header bar. If thats all good you can raise it up by loosening the pivot bearings on both sides.

If you need to center the panel loosen the pivot bushing(?)on each side and you can push the light around.Of course this means your bushings could be on the way out mine needed to go forward a bit so it wouldn't rake the paint on the way up
