Engine build up
Rebuilding the original 454 block. Unfortunately the crank is NFG. The original is a forged steel unit, the machine shop will
supply a cast crank core at no charge. A forged steel unit will cost $400. Considering the use of the car when finished as
a restored street driven car is the steel crank worth the additional expense.
Have the cash - just means other parts wait a little longer.
