Re: Corvette Station Wagon (rainman69)
I like the concept of the wagon ok, not a problem...it's that hideous large metal flake paint that looks bad....now if the thing was painted something tasteful...you know...refined....as to let the style speak for itself instead of overdoing it, something like an ordinary metallic...maybe dark blue or burgundy
the classic looks of a 17inch version of a T-Thrust D mag wheel would be nice...alumium rim with gray spokes...chrome center cap..maybe...

Re: Corvette Station Wagon (rainman69)
If they had left the rear bumpers intact (it looks like a '73) and hadn't used that gross large flake paint, I'd actually consider it a tasteful custom. Otherwise it's alright.

Re: Corvette Station Wagon (Steve Straus)
Who do you guys think you're kidding? If this car had been for sale in your area in the mid 70's you would have been fighting over it. :p:
I have to love it, it's red. :D

Re: Corvette Station Wagon (Stingray1967)
The only good thing about that car is the fact that it's still salvageable. Just rip that thing off and glass it back together.
And what is it with hideous customs and flake paints?

Re: Corvette Station Wagon (rainman69)
the second pic had me thinking that there was some really crappy body work going on... looks like the runs and bubbles of a new car when you get 12-18 inches away from the paint
ZD
