81 ac quit
it used to work fine even though the air never blew very hard but at least it worked. i pulled my motor out and while i was at it got the airgas drained so i could tidy up the engine bay. put the motor back in and turned on my fan. it worked on speeds 1 2 and 3 but not on hi.
i got the aircon system regassed and now no fan at all is working. my fuse is good. and the single wire to the fan motor seems ok. one thing that im not sure if its related is a strange buzzing noise comes from under the centre consol when i turn on the ignition but its only brief for a bout 2 seconds.

I borrowed this from "Sixfooter". He's on this forum and another. This helped me diagnose my A/C problems.
Mine turned out to be the high blower relay.
Buzzing noise under the console? I don't know.
If Sixfooter see's this thread, he will be able to tell you the answer. He's pretty sharp when it comes to electrical issues.

thanks luster. that was it !!! the pins had come out of the high speed relay. i couldnt tell by looking at it but enough when i pushed it a bit harder it came on. must have jolted out when i hit that gutter last week..
