Converting from Power Windows to Manual?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering what is required to make the swap from power windows to manual ones? My vette is a 1975 if it matters...

Looking to drop some weight!

Don't think you're going to lose much weight there. While you'd lose the motor weight, you'd gain the weight of the crank mechanism.

You basically need to swap out your power window regulators for the manual crank ones and remove the wiring harness, switches and relays. If you do decide to do the conversion, I would be interested in buying your complete power window set up.

I(new guy here) have the same plan. I want manual windows myself. I would be willing to trade my power stuff for some manual stuff.

My newly acquired project is a '75. And like I said I would be willing to trade. Might sound like I am getting the raw deal but in fact this is what I prefer. I want the more old school manual window and it's less stuff to go wrong later. I haven't taken the parts out yet but will be starting my project after June 11th (family vacation you know). I am in Phoenix,
Az. So keep in touch and we'll work it out then. Sound good?
