Dash lights on '82 ???

Dash lights on '82 ???
I've replaced all of the dash lights on my '82 and yet they are no brighter. Hard to see guages at night. Could the dimmer switch be bad? Anyone out there have any sugestions? Thanks everyone...

Yes, the rheostat in the switch may be failing. Also, the dash light harness ground might be suspect.

I'll check the ground. Do all of the standard parts outlets have this switch. Thanks DB...

You might have to transfer over the vacuum part of the switch but yeah you can buy the electrical part of the switch at local parts stores.

GM no longer sells the 78-82 headlight switch. You have to buy it from one of the Corvette parts vendors.
