71 HEI Distributor conversion ??
I just realized that my recently purchased 71 C3 (350) has a non tach drive distributor in it. I Realized this as i was trying to fix my inoperative Tachometer.
Question is should i find / buy a stock distributor or should I convert to a HEI tach drive distributor?
Any advantages to going HEI?
A vendor on this Forum has a HEI tach drive setup for $169.00
any suggestions from anyone who has done this conversion would be welcome.

This was just discussed this week and Lars did a nice write up on the HEI distributor. With that said, it comes down to your wallet now.
